Adults are invited to a year-long series of workshops entitled "A Philanthropist's Guide to Nonprofit Leadership," presented by Felecia Brewer of Brewer & Associates, Inc. and made possible by The Emily Fund and Friends of the Library through gifts to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. The theme for this three-session workshop is "Proposal Writing Bootcamp." This is an intensive, hands-on series of three programs during which participants will learn the steps of the proposal writing process. On July 12, they'll learn the eight steps of proposal writing. On August 9, they'll use and interpret data in the need statement and learn to write a program description. On October 18, they'll learn to evaluate, budget and package their proposals. Call 275-4352 to register.
