Spring Workshops for Children at IndyPL

Toddlers and preschoolers are invited for a variety of fun and stimulating activities throughout the spring at The Indianapolis Public Library that will help develop their literacy skills and prepare them for school.
The following programs will be presented at most IndyPL locations:
- "Imagination Station: Toddler Dance Class"
Toddlers ages 12 - 36 months and an adult are invited for an interactive presentation that is ideal to expose young ones to the art of dance. Space is limited. Registration is required. - "Peas in a Pod: Preschool Snacking Workshop"
Preschoolers and an adult are invited to join the Marion County Health Department to explore fruits and vegetables through games, stories and activities. They'll put on an apron and learn how to prepare a tasty and healthy snack! Space is limited. Registration is required. - "Parent and Preschool Yoga"
Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 and an adult are invited to enjoy the health benefits that yoga can offer during this program presented by the Greater Indianapolis YMCA. No registration is required. - "Dinosaur Art: Preschool Art Workshop"
Preschoolers are invited to make a prehistoric creation during this program led by the Art Lab. Those attending will listen to a story and create their own masterpiece! Space is limited. Registration is required. - "Life Is Dance Workshop"
Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 are invited to an interactive presentation that is ideal for exposing them to the art of dance. Those attending will learn how they can create dance all the time in every situation. Space is limited. Registration is required. - "GardenTime Storytime!"
Preschoolers ages 3 - 6 and an adult are invited to uncover knowledge about worms, bugs, dirt and plants through stories, songs, puppets and dance. Space is limited. Registration is required.
