The Library continues to offer job search resources through the Job Centers, which are staffed by dedicated assistants who can give unemployed and underemployed patrons one-on-one job search help. The Job Centers served more than 3,000 people in 2017.

Job Center attendees can work on their résumé, job search online and practice computer skills. One patron said, “I am so grateful for it as I do not have a home computer, nor do I have internet access. It is a tremendous help to me.” Staff assistance is especially valued—another attendee shared, “A very helpful lady was able to show me through my email how to access the documents I was required to fill out.”

Thanks goes to Knowledge Services, the Office of Lawrence Township Trustee Steve Talley and TCU Foundation for supporting this program.
