Your gift will enable the Library Foundation to help the Library maintain its long history of excellent programs and services for individuals of all ages. With your help, the Library Foundation sponsors numerous programs throughout the year which benefit the community. You can choose to support children’s initiatives, lifelong learning initiatives, cultural and community initiatives, collections and technology, Central Library or a specific Library branch.
Friends of the Library
Depending on your level of giving, you will be eligible for a certain number of Friends cards, which are good for the calendar year and carry benefits such as:
- Early access to the Indy Library Store book sales with Friends Nights – Friday evening previews open only to Friends – and two bonus sales
- Preferred seating at the annual Marian McFadden Memorial Lecture held each spring
- Special discounts and benefits on Library Foundation merchandise and other goods and services from local businesses
- The satisfaction of knowing your gift to the Library Foundation has helped others benefit from popular Library programs and services
